We at Winston's have launched our own range of T-Shirts. We started off simply with a blue tee and the large Viking logo on. The Viking design comes from the history and heritage that York has with the Viking, plus we think it looks pretty cool!

We now carry the Tee in a large and small design in White, Grey and Blue. We are going to carry on expanding the style and range we other.

We get the Tees printed locally in Leeds and produce our own labels.

Thought Clothing is a new brand we are so happy to have brought into our store. The brand started back in Austarlia in the mid 1990's and was born out of the want to create a natural , cool clothing range. 

The identity of the brand is very much based on a sustainability and lowering the impact on the environment. The fabrics used in creating the clothing are Bamboo, Wool, Cotton and Hemp, all from sustainable and ethical resources.

Spotlight on - Farah

 

Mansour Farah, founder of Farah originally studied shirt design and manufacturing at University in New York. After he graduated he opened a very small factory in El Paso, Texas, USA. The first lines from the factory included men's shirts, denim and khaki trousers.

In the 1940's the war started causing a shift from manufacturing civilian clothing to producing military uniforms. When the troops American troops landed on the Normandy beaches in 1944, they were wearing Farah uniforms.

After the war the company needed to change back to producing fashion. With the launch of Farah Gold they quickly realigned...
